To escape the busy of the Festival, it is time again for our EdinFurs BBQ meet!
This BBQ meet will take place in the Meadows (https://maps.app.goo.gl/5yxrTHW3HtHN9TNMA), from 12:00 to 17:00. We will likely be setting up a little bit before this, so no panics if you are a little early.
Some important notes for this BBQ meet:
- BRING YOUR OWN FOOD AND DRINKS - We will be bringing the BBQ and means too cook, but no sustenance. We hope to bring some supplies like plates/napkins, but it may be useful to bring your own utensils if available or preferred.
- DIETARY REQUIREMENTS - Please let the team cooking know if you have any dietary requirements so we can try and cater to anything needed. This will likely involve sectioning the BBQ grill to separate food types.
- THE WEATHER - The weather could go from laser sun to thundering rain, so please try to protect yourself on the day. This could involve sun cream, or a jacket for example. If the weather looks bad enough the date of this meet may also be delayed forward, but lets hope not!

I know this place is a little bit out of the way, but it is rather cozy! In a good way! Sadly, the place does not have a kitchen, so ordering food at the bar is a no-go. They allow people to bring their own food to the booked room upstairs, but be prepared to put it away if staff ask you to.
The rules:
1. Tails, con badges, small accessories and ears are fine, just be careful with the potential of knocking things off tables such as glasses. As we’ve got the upstairs space for ourselves again, we have the go-ahead for partials and full-suits, but only in the booked upstairs area. Formally, no costumes/suits (etc.) are allowed downstairs. While in suit, just remember to be wary of nearby drinks on tables and risk of overheating.
